Greg’Äôs brother Mike Kalember stepped into Raven Bitch in the summer of 1987 after original bassist Jim Beam had suffered a severe hand injury. As the band was booked solid, Mike had to learn the band’Äôs 45 songs in a matter of days, and he pulled it off brilliantly. While Jim Beam was in many ways the soul of Raven Bitch, Mike’Äôs solid feel and polished chops took the band’Äôs sound to another level.
